Buffalo Hunt Painting

George Catlin’s painting depicts a hunting technique of Plains Indians. The hunters cover themselves in wolf-skins to approach the buffalos. The buffalos were accustomed to wolves, which allowed the hunters to stalk and attack an individual bison.
